Chicago Web developer Imaginary Landscape wins 2008 Standard of Excellence WebAward
The National Cervical Cancer Campaign Web site has been awarded the Standard of Excellence award by the Web Marketing Association. Imaginary Landscape designed and developed the site on behalf of the NCCC.
The NCCC is led by the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation and supported by more than 30 national organizations engaged in informing the public about prevention, early detection and quality treatment of cervical cancer.
"We are honored with the recognition for this very worthy cause," said Brian Moloney managing partner of Imaginary Landscape. "The NCCC is a wonderful Web site with a terrific mission."
More than 2,400 sites from 45 countries were adjudicated in 96 industry categories during this year's competition. Entries were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.
The competition was judged by a team of independent Internet professionals representing a variety of relevant disciplines of Web site development. Judges included members of the media, advertising executives, site designers, creative directors, corporate marketing executives, content providers and webmasters.
The Web site is located at http://www.cervicalcancercampaign.org.
