Imaginary Landscape and Advocate Health Care to present at Ninth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference
Brian Moloney, managing partner of Imaginary Landscape, and John Ruhl,
director customer relationship management - technology of Advocate
Health Care, will serve as co-presenters at the Ninth Annual Healthcare
Internet Conference November 7-9 in Las Vegas.
The session, entitled “The Doctor Directory/First Appointment Request: A Pathway to Measurable ROI," will explore best practices for an online physician referral system and present a behind-the-scenes look at the Advocate system.
The session will focus on how a hospital Web site can convert visitors into customers by closing the transaction between physician search and appointment request. Data will be presented that shows a direct connection between this online feature and hospital revenues.
Chicago Web developer Imaginary Landscape designed the Advocate doctor directory.
"The ability to show a real return on investment for the Web site has been a challenge for many hospitals and health care systems," said Moloney. "By partnering with Advocate and connecting hospital revenues directly to the Web site, we hope to assist other hospitals with their Web revenue models."
Advocate Health Care's doctor directory was recently singled out as one of four sites embracing online physician directory recommendations from the National Committee on Quality Assurance.
